Our Mission

The  Nettleton F.A.I.T.H. Food Pantry is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) service organization. While we identify with the Christian faith, we are unaffiliated with any particular church, and we do not turn away anyone because of religious or denominational differences. We are dedicated to service through providing food to our extended community, according to our Mission Statement:

To secure and distribute a regular source of donated and purchased food to the needy residents of the:
  • Nettleton School District of  Lee & Monroe County
  • Shannon School District
  • Verona School District
  • Plantersville School District
with emphasis on families with children, families in crisis, and the elderly under the USDA guidelines. As Christ is our example of feeding the multitudes, so we would share in this ministry of doing away with hunger in our community. The Nettleton F.A.I.T.H. Food Pantry is an organization responding to the gospel imperative: "In so far as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you did it to Me" (Matt. 25:40).
We welcome all who want to give back to their community by donating or volunteering.
